Mother – cu benzi desenate si fara client service, Londra
Daca deschizi Time Out UK (cel de saptamana asta), in centru, o sa gasesti un supliment de benzi desenate cu titlul “Four Feet From A Rat”. Coperta exprima destul de bine stilul:
Bazat se pare pe o statistica despre numarul de sobolani din Londra, care spune ca niciodata nu esti mai departe de 4 picioare (aprx 1.3 metri) de unul.
Ce legatura are cu Mother? Este o initiativa Mother, una dintre cele mai originale agentii din UK. Benzile desenate sunt facute in colaborare cu o editura specializata, apar trimestrial in Time Out (asta e al doilea episod), povestiri centrate pe Londra. Scenariile sunt furnizate de Mother (copywriteri) si desenele sunt facute de diversi artisti cunoscuti, urmand ca ulterior toate sa fie adunate intr-o carte.
Mother este cunoscuta pentru atragerea de talent si incurajarea initiativelor off-advertising; au artisti, realizatori de scurt metraje etc. printre angajati. Se pare ca sunt si foarte multi care sunt pasionati de benzi desenate.
Si sunt prima si singura agentie care a renuntat la Account Management (Client Service). Contul este condus de o echipa formata din creativi, strategie si o “mother” care e de obicei om de productie (Tv sau print).
